Our Church

The name pretty much says who we are.  Our ministry primarily worships digitally.  We have blogs, videos, prayer requests, a section where a question can be answered in private, and answer section where anyone can ask a question and receive an answer  by email.

We discovered a real need to bring Christ to those who cannot go to church or even a Bible study.  Circumstances may prevent you from leaving your home; children, transportation, medical, phobias, etc.  We offer the ability, to those, to nourish their spiritual bodies.  You can now worship in your underwear at 3:00 am on a Thursday, we are always open.  You don’t have to leave your house; we’re as close as your computer.  You don’t have to arrange for a baby sitter, you can worship while they nap.  If your leg is broken, power up your laptop. You may just not want to go out, we are there for you.  You can now worship on YOUR time (dress optional).

A future goal is to offer live, streaming video and, if feasible, with an interactive feed.  Church brought live to your home; prayer, song, and guest speakers from within the people connected to the feed.  Organized church is great if you can go; we fill the need for those who can’t go.  Finally worship comes to where it belongs, at home.

Our Pastor

Pastor Peter (Pete) Files.

I first received my calling early in my life.   I didn’t answer it then; teenagers seldom do as they are told.  We did attend church once in a while but never a committed to joining a church.  Life went by; high school, college, partying every night, then marriage.  This was good for me.  It calmed my “wild oats” energy.

I have had many careers in my life but only one true calling. I concentrated on my career to provide for my wife and two daughters.  We attended church regularly; I was even responsible for a few technical aspects of a drama my church put on at the local theater.  Things were going great and I was now in the position to His answer.  I was studying to be a pastor when my marriage ended in divorce and that scrambled my life, again.  My pastor thought I should take a break from my ministerial training and concentrate on pulling my life together.  He didn’t want me to enter the clergy as an escape.

The years went by, I made a few bad decisions, and a life outside of the Lord’s light.  God was all but lost to me, but He left the light within burning in the background.  It is funny how fast time flies when you live in a secular world.

My youngest daughter asked if I could solemnize her wedding and that awoke God'a plans for me. I no longer work so any excuses used in the past have fallen by the way. I have a real need to reconnect with our Lord intensified so here I am.

My personal mantra: “I don’t worship Jesus, I worship God through Jesus.”

Our History and Mission Statement

We are an upstart ministry.  Work began for us in mid to late March, 2013 and had many hurdles to jump.  There were many setbacks but we endured.  God gave us a chore and we are intent on bringing it to the world.  There is a real need for Christian and other like minds to nourish their souls but cannot make it to a traditional place of worship.  The needs to tend to their heavenly being but circumstances do not afford the time, means, etc. to attend a conventional organization called us to action.

By no means are we only on the web, our minister will do home visits, hospital visits, and visit assisted living facilities when invited and time allows.  Even though there is not a physical location for our ministry, our pastor solemnizes weddings, baptisms, and funerals at other locations (relatively near to Standish, Maine). Contact us here for details.

A church that is digital, on the internet, seemed to be the best way to connect to as many as we can.  We are always open and can be attended at everyone’s convenience.  Whether early in the morning or late at night or, in a suit or in pajamas we started this ministry online to witness to everyone.

We need your help to maintain this ministry.  Your donations will make it possible to maintain our ministry and afford us the privilege to bring the Father’s love to you. We hope you enjoy our ministry and the Holy Spirit comforts you. Tell everyone you know how to find us.

God Bless.
